The Tregole farm is a vine and wine producing company in the heart of Classic Chianti region, 4 km away from Castellina in Chianti, and is situated in a lovely and peaceful location. In addition to tranquility, the wine-growing estate offers the client a historic cultural legacy to be explored. Adjacent to the “Tregole Villa” you'll find a hexagonal chapel of late renaissance period design and construction. A 20-minute walk will take you to the Etruscan necropolis of Fonterutoli.

The owners have restructured two apartments for the vacation period in the countryside. Wooden beams, terra-cotta pavements, and a fireplace inspire our guests with an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The clean, pristine landscape ranges out in front of the pool and garden showing off its enchanting beauty.

The farm produces a fine Classic Chianti, Grappa, and an authentic olive oil. In addition it also provides a spacious area for the tasting of these fine products.
Notwithstanding its pastoral and secluded location, Florence and Siena are easily reachable and the closest town is Castellina in Chianti (4 km away), where our guests can find all the necessities they need, among them being: bank, post office, shops, and various restaurants.
 

“The Tregole Farm” overlooks the wavy hills of the Chianti region with its forests, vineyards, olive-groves, and a few rural and manor houses which punctuate the landscape. The company, in addition to producing the renowned Classic Chianti, also manages a receptive tourist structure. The Tregole Farm is made up of a manor house with a noble family chapel which goes back to 1600, 2 main separate apartments, and a bed and breakfast.
A big garden offers lot of space be it in the sun or in the shade and the pool, (7/14m) unique due to its placement, was built by a skilled Italian designer. The water runs down from two sides and is gathered up so that it can return filtered. This gives the impression of there not being any boundaries between “the water and the sky”.
The colours of the seasons give way to one another during the course of the year in the same way the working of the land gives way to the trimming of the harvest.

The structure, which was recently restored using the traditional methods of the authentic “Tuscan Countryside House”, has five bedrooms, four on the second floor, and a small suite, on the ground level, which is partially independent and separate from the rest of the establishment.

The parlour, with its characteristic fireplace, lends itself to pleasant evenings on the farm. In the adjacent room on the ground floor, breakfast is served in a brightly lit and comfortable atmosphere, as well as on the pleasant pergola terrace.
Two times a week the lady of the house, upon reservation, prepares a typical Tuscan menu which is accompanied by wines and other products of the house.
In addition the garden, with its various shaded areas, and the panoramic pool which splendors with sun in all seasons, are at the disposal of our guests.

Edith, who is both the owner and the decorator, has furnished the five rooms with a lot of care, love, and attention to details and the beautiful things of the past.
On the ground floor you'll find the suite and the breakfast room with the adjacent parlour and fireplace. You'll also find a big terrace with tables so that you can eat breakfast outside in comfort. The other rooms are situated on the first floor.

Whether your are coming from Siena or Florence the farm can be reached by taking Superstrada (SS) N.2 or state road SR222/SS222. Arriving from Florence on the Superstrada you get off at San Donato in Poggio and you then proceed in the direction of Castellina in Chianti. There turn right on the SR222/SS222 in the direction Siena. After about 3,5 km you'll find the crossroad for Tregole on your left. Arriving from Siena you get off at Badesse and you proceed 5 Km in the direction of Castellina passing Lornano. Once you've arrived on state road SR222/SS222, turn left. After about 3 km you'll find the crossroad for Tregole on your right.
